Printed ribbons have a pattern printed on the ribbon. Usually printed ribbons are polka dots. The polka dots on these ribbons can wear off and extra care should be taken when washing items with printed polka dots or printed patterns.

Satin Ribbon: Their are two kinds of satin ribbon, single sided and double sided. Single sided satin ribbon has smooth shiny surface one side. The double face satin ribbon has the smooth shiny surface on both sides.
